As the year draws to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my family, my team, sponsors, friends and extended family for their continued support for 2014! It was a year filled with ups and downs, but the silver lining was some great learning experiences! I’ve met some incredible people out there, got to see parts of the world that I have never seen, and connected with old friends from all parts of the globe.
My team worked hard this year! Jason Resop is family in every sense of the word, and my right hand man. Stan Gray, an important part of our team, who came to the rescue many times this year. John Hanlon and Grant Groathouse, always there for me and the rest of the team. We will miss Danny Onofryton, due to his return to the University of North Dakota, but wish him the best and know that education is so important. I welcome Kayla Layton as the new Team Communications Coordinator, recent graduate of Arizona State University. The team is looking forward to working with and getting to know Kayla. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such terrific people!
We begin testing as soon as 14KN returns, which should be next week. We have a lot of work to do before the airplane ships out the middle of January. I’m looking forward to the Red Bull Air Race Championship, to our Air Shows and Exhibitions and to seeing all of you in 2015! I appreciate you following along this year! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
