Team Chambliss arrived in Europe early to counter the jet lag, visit Hangar 7, and to cheer on the Red Bulls Hockey Team in Salzberg, Austria. The remaining Teams arrive today, assembling the airplanes at the Graz Airport.
This is the 8th and final Red Bull Air Race for 2014, an important race concerning the top three contenders for the 2014 World Championship! Nigel Lamb holds a slight lead over Arch and Bonhomme, with only a six point difference. The Race in Spielberg, might just be the most thrilling race yet!
Team Chambliss is already looking ahead to 2015 and concentrating on making the airplane faster. We are looking at every aspect of the Race….aerodynamics of the airplane, training, and the technology of predicting software. Kirby says, ” We are going to have a successful 2015 Race Season!”
