Today was a transition day for the race, relocating from the Graz Airport to the Red Bull Ring, Spielberg, Austria. All Teams gearing up for the grand finale with the top three pilots headed for a showdown!
The weather was just good enough to make the flight through the mountains and land on the make shift short and narrow runway at the Red Bull Ring. As the pilots were landing, plenty of crew members were holding their breath and then a sigh of relief when they were safely on the ground. The elevation change during the course of this track is just over 200 feet. This will be an interesting race, given all the challenges here at the newly renovated Red Bull Ring.
Excited to start training tomorrow, trying to find the best line, Kirby says, “Looking forward to the challenge!”
