Incredible, no jet lag this week! Having two races back to back here in the States is awesome for Team Chambliss! Coming up fast is Qualifying Day and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the perfect place to have the 7th Race in the World Championship Series.
Thursday was a transition day for all Teams, moving from the North Las Vegas Airport to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Kirby had his first practice flight at North Las Vegas and went right into the photo flight with Nigel, Pete and Martin. I’m sure you’ve already seen these on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There were some spectacular photos taken of the formation flight at Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and on the Las Vegas Strip. This one was with our new camera, the GoPro HERO4, cool, huh?
The transition proved to be a smooth one, even time for a run through the track. Kirby finished the day with two interviews and then headed for the hotel for a well deserved break!
