Another early day for Team Chambliss, still battling the heat and humidity. Kirby had two training sessions back to back, with two runs each session. Kirby’s fastest time was 1 minute and 17 seconds, still trying to find the perfect line! Stan, Jason and Scott worked on taping all the seams of the plane for aerodynamic reasons, hoping to shave off hundreds of a second.
Tomorrow should make for an exciting day! Qualifying is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, as long as the weather holds. There have been talks of changing Qualifying runs to tomorrow morning, in place of the practice runs.
