PIPER AIRCRAFT INC. JOINS THE TEAM CHAMBLISS FAMILY!

Our team is excited to welcome Piper Aircraft Inc. as an official sponsor starting 2018!

Piper Aircraft Inc., headquartered in Vero Beach, Fla., offers aviators throughout the world efficient and reliable single- and twin-engine aircraft. The single-engine M-Class series – the M600, M500, M350 and Matrix – offers businesses and individuals elegant performance and value.

For the past seven years, our team utilized a Piper Meridian to support our travel needs between events across the United States and Mexico. We are excited to announce that we will now operate a 2017 M600, complete with custom paint and branded interior.

“We average about 200 hours of flight time on our support aircraft each year. The Meridian has served our team great, but the advances in the M600 will suit our team even better. It’s a much more capable aircraft,” says Chambliss.

The Piper M600 features a new, clean sheet design wing and a sophisticated Garmin G3000 touchscreen-controlled glass flight deck. The M600 seats six and is powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A 600shp engine. The aircraft has a maximum cruise speed of 274 ktas/507 km/h, a max range of 1,658 nm / 3,070 km, and a standard useful load of 2,400 lbs. / 1,089 kg. The G3000 avionics suite is the next generation of Garmin architecture, offering the most comprehensive, intuitive, and technologically advanced package on today’s market.

Our team was given a behind-the-scenes tour at the Piper facilities to see exactly how the M600 comes together. A quick glimpse can be seen below:

Our new aircraft displays a customized paint scheme made to resemble the air show Edge540. A final touch showcases a registration number fit for both the M600 and Kirby – N600KC.

“Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to build a relationship with those at Piper. I can’t express how excited our team is to announce the partnership with the company. They’ve gone above and beyond in customizing the aircraft’s appearance for us.  The M600 is going to take care of our team’s transportation needs for many years to come,” states Chambliss.

The aircraft will be on display at Sun ‘N Fun April 11-13, in Lakeland, FL., and at EAA AirVenture July 25-27, in Oshkosh, WI.
