The morning threatened rain, but the weather cleared in time for the Race! The fans filled the stands at the famous track with anticipation!
Kirby was in the second heat going head to head with Hannes. The former champion, had a clean run, no penalties with a time of 1:15.26. Hannes ran a 1:12.98, putting Kirby in the tenth position out of twelve pilots. Kirby and the Team were extremely disappointed!
Paul Bonhomme took first place with 1:11.57 and Nigel Lamb following close behind at 1:11.75! It was a thrilling venue and an excellent race for the UK! Congratulations to Paul for a tremendous win in his home country!
