Tons of fun to be back in the home state of Texas at the Texas Motor Speedway! This year has been a roller coaster for Kirby and the Team, with the best finish being fourth in Poland. It was a bright spot being around so many friends and family this weekend! Thank you for the incredible support!
Race day, the twelve Master Pilots are matched up in heats, depending on where they were postitioned in Qualifying. In the fourth heat, Kirby went head to head with Martin Sonka who came out on top, moving him into the Super 8’s. The winner of the Red Bull Air Race, Dallas/Fort Worth, was Nicholas Ivanoff with a winning time of 54.118. Nigel Lamb followed with 54.253, making this a very close Championship Series for 2014! Paul Bonhomme has a total of 45 points, Hannes Arch and Nigel Lamb are on his heels with 44 points each! Las Vegas should be a very interesting race, indeed!
