Day One was a success! While it was great to be reunited with friends and fellow competitors, we spent the majority of the day assembling the race plane. Just a few more steps and it should be ready for test flights! Kirby made it to Abu Dhabi safe and sound this evening, and we turned in to bed shortly thereafter to prepare for another busy day tomorrow!!
