RED BULL AIR RACE ASCOT: DAY THREE

P-20160812-00739_News

It was another beautiful sunny day in Ascot! A warm, 75 degrees made the perfect setting for training sessions in the course. We may not have set the track record, but are happy to have taken the time to test a couple of different theories. We focused on keeping entry speed consistent to that of a standing start, as it’s key to keep all test conditions as close to that of race conditions. Everything we learned today will be transferred to tomorrow’s final training session before the qualifying round.  We are ready to fly fast and put ourselves in a good position for race day.

“Our focus for Ascot is to win, and we are doing what it takes to get there.  We’ve been consistent this season, but it only takes you so far unless you’re consistently winning!” remarks Kirby.
