Britain’s Nigel Lamb led his Red Bull Air Race rivals Kirby Chambliss (United States) and Steve Jones (Britain) out of Perth and over the nearby Indian Ocean to the picturesque Rottnest Island for a traditional formation flight ahead of the grand finale race of 2008 that will decide the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.
“We always enjoy flying out over the shark-infested waters here,” said Chambliss. “That’s always something special.”
