It’s a New Year. This means new beginnings. But let’s dive into Kirby’s past to discover some very early beginnings on his need for speed.
Going back to this week’s trivia, Kirby’s first car was a 1969 Dodge Super Bee.
The Dodge Super Bee was a limited-production muscle car produced from 1968 to 1971. Many consider it a classic and one of the best “budget” muscle cars around.
Kirby’s next car was a 1969 Triumph TR-06. (Think he’s got some sentimental value to 1969?) The Triumph TR-06 is another sports car with that classic European look. The British sports car was a very succesful model and continued to garner an enduring respect among sports car lovers.
So its no wonder Kirby was born with a need for speed since he began the need for it on the road. It was a beginning fans can appreciate and celebrate in this new year.
