AirVenture 2012 is shaping up to be extreme and exciting! There is never a shortage of things to see, places to go, or people to meet at AirVenture. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to attend year after year, such a unique event! This year, Kirby is scheduled to fly on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and also on Super Saturday!
If you are going this year, don’t forget to visit the EAA AirVenture Museum and check out Kirby’s Edge Prototype, hanging upside down! I think that’s appropriate, don’t you?
Monday July 23rd, see the Steve Miller Band in concert and oh, don’t miss the 75th anniversary of the Piper J-3 Cub and don’t forget Jet Day! Family Day on Sunday the 29th will prove to be a big hit as well as the Salute to Veterans Day!
Best of all is Super Saturday with the Tora! Tora! Tora! re-enactment and the incredible night show with fireworks! Perfect for the whole family!
