A veteran of the Red Bull Air Race, Kirby Chambliss understands the importance of change and its ability to enhance a team’s performance.
With that knowledge, Chambliss is embracing changes to his 2010 team with the addition of Jocelyn Buras as Team Coordinator. Buras will join Kirby along with current technician Jason Resop to form Team Chambliss, replacing the former coordinator Chandoline Byrnes.
Byrnes recently resigned to pursue other avenues in the aviation industry and is presently working for a charter company in Colorado.
“Chandoline was an amazing asset to our team and will truly be missed. We all wish her well in her future endeavors,” Chambliss said.
“Over the past few years the position of Team Coordinator has changed considerably and we’re excited to bring Jocelyn onboard. Her expertise in marketing and communications will help advance Team Chambliss to the next level not only on race day but also with digital marketing and fan outreach.”
Buras, a former collegiate athlete with experience in sports marketing comes to Team Chambliss having previously worked with Clif Bar, Target Co, and several Arizona publications.
“Jocelyn’s positive attitude and willingness to get the job done, no matter what the cost, are characteristics that will come in handy this upcoming season. The plan is to have a really cohesive team with all members making Team Chambliss the #1 priority.”
